Native Gardens Postponed Until Summer

Tuesday, March 31, 2020
The power of Pierre Players Community Theatre lies within our community. With our community unable to gather for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, we have decided to delay our production of “Native Gardens” with the new dates to be determined. We plan to bring you “Native Gardens” as soon as it is safe to do so, hopefully this summer. It is with heavy hearts that we have also decided to cancel “Man of La Mancha” for this summer due to the number of people and resources necessary to put on a summer musical. We know that all members of our theater community, both artists and patrons, will prevail together. Thank you for your continued patronage and support.

New Dates for Native Gardens

Friday, March 20, 2020

Pierre Players Community Theatre is concerned for the health and safety of our patrons, volunteers and performers. For that reason, we have decided to move back the dates for our production of “Native Gardens” by two weeks. New show dates will be May 8-10 and 14-16, with a preview performance on May 6. While the show must go on, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow the CDC’s recommendations. Watch our website for further changes, if necessary. Thank you for your continued patronage and support.

Front-of-House Hospitality Training

Thursday, February 6, 2020

There are so many ways to participate in Pierre Players. On Thursday, Feb. 13, Pierre Players will hold a Front-of-House Hospitality Training from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Opera House. Come learn about some of the small but necessary roles that help make each night of a production enjoyable for everyone who attends. We are looking for volunteers who can help with front of house activities, which includes the box office, concession stand, house managing and ushering. Most of these activities require less than two hours of your time and on your availability. At the training, we will discuss the volunteer opportunities and give a tour of the theater.
