Little Players' mission is to foster an appreciation of community theater and encourage self-development through the dramatic arts as students learn the skills and technical aspects of theater. Auditions: Little Players will hold auditions for "Girl of La Mancha" on Sunday, May 5, 2024, 3 p.m. at the Grand Opera House. There are parts for three males, nine females, and several extras 5th grade and up. There are two adult roles and several roles to fill behind the scenes. Based on the book “The Day the Crayons Quit” by Drew Daywalt, camp involves five days of games and activities based on theater skills. Participants will tie-die shirts, build a giant crayon box, write their own letters/scripts, create a mural based on their letters/scripts and present their letters to an audience. There will be a performance on the final day - Friday, July 19 at 5:00 pm.

Drama Club
Drama Club, an invitation-only middle school drama club, meets the first Monday of every month during the school year at 7-8:30 p.m. to develop students' theater skills. Drama Club students perform volunteer work with Pierre Players, take field trips, have chaperoned events, watch movies and play improv games.
